Questions
Frequently asked questions
How is nemamax different from nematop and nema-green?
nemamax treats both vine weevil and chafer grubs, and keeps working in cooler soil and compost, down to 8°C, so it suits autumn and early spring. nematop and nema-green need the soil above 12°C.
How do I treat pots?
Mix the pack with water and water each pot until the compost is moist all the way through.
How long does it last?
The nematodes stay active in moist compost for several weeks, hunting down grubs as they move.
When will my order arrive?
Order by 10:00 on Wednesday and it is produced fresh and delivered by tracked courier the following Wednesday or Thursday. Days can change around bank holidays in Ireland and Germany. See ordering and delivery.
How should I store it?
Put the pack in the fridge (2–8°C) as soon as it arrives and use it before the date on the pack. Do not freeze it.
Is it safe for children, pets and the environment?
Yes. The nematodes target insect pests in the soil and are safe to use around children, pets and wildlife.
Does it leave any residue?
Nematodes are living organisms, not chemicals, so there are no chemical residues on your lawn, plants, fruit or vegetables.
