Questions
Frequently asked questions
Will it get rid of the flies I can see?
Nematodes kill the larvae in the compost, which stops new flies hatching. The adult flies die off naturally within a week or two. A yellow sticky trap catches the adults in the meantime.
How do I use it on houseplants?
Mix the pack with water and water each pot until the compost is moist. Let the surface dry a little between waterings afterwards.
Is it safe indoors?
Yes. It is odourless and safe for children, pets and edible crops.
When will my order arrive?
Order by 10:00 on Wednesday and it is produced fresh and delivered by tracked courier the following Wednesday or Thursday. Days can change around bank holidays in Ireland and Germany. See ordering and delivery.
How should I store it?
Put the pack in the fridge (2–8°C) as soon as it arrives and use it before the date on the pack. Do not freeze it.
Is it safe for children, pets and the environment?
Yes. The nematodes target insect pests in the soil and are safe to use around children, pets and wildlife.
Does it leave any residue?
Nematodes are living organisms, not chemicals, so there are no chemical residues on your lawn, plants, fruit or vegetables.
